Current meal-tray products on the market are usually made of plastic and are rapidly being frowned upon throughout the world.
Our meal trays are manufactured from paper pulp, this is a green, renewable material source. Used meal trays will 98% biodegrade within weeks when sent to landfill and can also be composted using a commercial composting facility.
The meal trays are heat sealed with a clear film lidding, ensuring a hygienic meal that remains sealed from the kitchen to the customer. Our meal trays are available in various sizes and internal compartments and have a temperature range from -40 to +200° C, meaning our filled meal trays can be frozen, chilled in a conventional fridge, microwaved, and also re-heated in a conventional oven up to +200° C.
Blu-Box Heated Highly Insulated Food Transport Box
Tekspek Solution are also suppliers of the popular and efficient blu’box thermo-boxes.
Manufactured in Germany, these hot boxes are used to store warm or hot food, or with the addition of a cool-slab, they can be converted to keep food cold.
The blu'box is manufactured from an antibacterial compound material called "silver zeolite" and the fan assisted heating system ensures constant and uniform heating. The boxes come in a range of models and can be programmed to maintain temperatures from +20 to +85° C.
