The paper-based tray insulates the meal keeping it hot for longer when compared to foil or plastic, and the outside of the tray cool for safe handling by staff and customers. Each meal is sealed from kitchen to customer, ensuring the highest hygiene standards and ensuring no spillage or contamination.
Easy to open proprietary film; easy to peel yet strong enough for the rigours of handling and stacking up to ten high. Film is trans-parent so meal content can be seen at a glance.
Heat sealed clear film is micro-perforated allowing excess steam to auto-vent.Piercing of film during microwaving etc. is optional.
Each compartment is separately sealed, preventing foods from mixing or sauces / gravy from overflowing, and making trays suit-able for the presentation of meals.
The meal tray is internally laminated to retain sauces and not allow any liquids to leak through etc.
Filled trays can be refrigerated, frozen, microwaved or reheated in a conventional oven. Filled and sealed trays can also be stacked 10 high for ease of storage or display
